Mood: depressed

I'd like to believe 100% in something, like nuns and priests believe that god exists.

Subject:Gotta make someone like Keane
Mood: cheerful

I've been listening to Keane's new album "Under The Iron Sea" for 2 weeks nonstop. Don't own it physically yet but will tomorrow after leaving work.

Now, you that don't know Keane or is afraid to like them (you know who you are! hehehe!) gotta start listening. Tom Chaplin (the singer) has the greatest voice I've ever heard and the songs are just beautiful. I recommend "Leaving So Soon", "Crystal Ball" and "Is It Any Wonder?".

I also recommend these live videos.

Subject:Recurring thought
Mood: contemplative

This always comes up to my mind. Would I be happier if I lived in the middle of the woods?
What if I moved with my grandma who lives in the countryside? I would help with the plantation, feed the fishes in the lake, sleep really early and wake up with the sun and the birds.

Would I be happier?

Subject:The magazine
Mood: amused

Today on my way back from work a suited man carrying some plastic bags sat by my side on the bus. After some time (as I assume he was getting bored because of the never ending traffic on Paulista avenue) he opened one of the bags and took a magazine out of it. It was a magazine about horses. I thought it was funny.

Mood: irritated

This post is totally useless.
I have more mosquito bites now than I've ever had. My legs are disgusting right now, my luck is that the weather is already cold so I don't have to wear shorts or skirts.
Hope I don't get marks from scratching.

Mood: very very very angry

I shouldn't be posting this in here, but fuck it! I'm so pissed right now. Just got a new job, first day and it's already not worth bothering.

For fuck's sake, I'm already graduated, have 2+ years of experience! I don't deserve getting paid what a cleaner is paid. I'm almost quiting and getting a job of frying hamburgers at McDonald's, at least there I wouldn't have to think so hard.

The saddest thing is, I'm the one to blame!

Mood: cold

I don't work* and I don't study anymore and how come I don't have time to do the things I'd like to. Like cooking, reading an art book, finishing reading Sherlock Holmes' series, experimenting doing some art stuff on the computer, making cross-stitch things...

Damn you technology, damn you Internet, damn you 4 suits Spider Solitaire!

*well, sometimes I do some freelance work. Wanna hire me to do some nice stuff?

Subject:New songs
Mood: curious

Just downloaded some Guillemots songs (the guitar player is Brazilian, from São Paulo :)) and they are fucking good! Just beautiful songs. BTW their website is pretty ugly, doesn't make justice to their songs.
The first one I downloaded is "Trains to Brazil" and it has this name in homage to Jean Charles de Menezes, that brazilian guy killed by the english police in the underground mistaken by a terrorist. Go here and download the song.

Second post within the hour.
Aren't there songs that make you feel really bad, really depressive but in a really good way? Used to get that feeling listening to Doves' "Your Shadow Lay Across My Life" and Teenage Fanclub's "Everything Flows". After you get used to the song this feeling fades til it doesn't exists anymore. Not that I don't like the song anymore, just that it loses this characteristic.
It's been a LONG time since a song did that to me, wonder if I'll ever feel that way again.

Subject:Saturday Night
Mood: contemplative

23:21 -> Saturday Night. Still don't know what I'm going to do tonight. Not in the mood for nothing I guess, but it's been ages since I went out to dance. I'm going to force myself to go out because all my friends are out and it's no use staying inside.

23:29 -> Made up my mind while reflecting on this entry. I want to dress up, to wear this beautiful dress my sister bought in a flea market, put some makeup and see some new faces. My plans for tonight are just dance and have fun. Hope it materializes.

00:41 -> I'm not going out anymore. Thinking positive: it's better this way, I'm saving at least 10 reais.

Have you ever heard about Last.fm? It's a cool online radio where you can listen to tons of songs, but the nicest thing is that by listening you end up discovering lots of new bands or listen to some bands you know exist but never listened before.
You search for a band you like and the radio plays artists similar to that one you searched, so it's almost certain that you'll like most of the songs played. After some time you have the option to listen to neighbour radio, which means the radio will play music similar to your taste based on the songs you've already listened to.
Pretty cool!

I'll try to write in english in this thing because I'm really forgetting how to write in english.

This LJ will not last of course because I always forget about these things, but will try to make it an habit just to practice my skills.

Right now I'm just waiting the computer transfer some files from a DVD to my IPod so I can start working. At last some money in my account! Tired of being poor! Tired of not having money to buy a new pair of jeans.

This layout is shit, but right now I can't do anything about it.
